Very handy vacuum to have around. Does a great job cleaning carpets and hard floors. I have not used it yet for my car yet. Having access to the hose is nice, I was able to clean out the lint trap with my dryer. After doing a lot of vacuuming, I rinsed off the filter and let dry for 24 hours. I am going to by an extra filter to have around.





Only negative (a small one), emptying the canister can be a mess.

Bought this to clean carpeted stairs for our vacation home. Had a lot of good reviews on Amazon and price was great ($39). Got it, quick to learn, and produced great results. Am buying a second one now for main house and two additional filters at $9 each so you can wash them periodically. It is really fully functional for carpeted stairs - the flat part, the vertical part, and the crevices. Nice design, powerful, well built.

After going through 1-2 Dust Busters because their rechargable batteries went dead, I decided to buy an AC-powered vacuum. I bought this one after reading the good reviews, and I just wanted to say how well this vacuum picks up dog hair. I have a pug (OMG the shedding) and tonight I vacuumed my 9x11 foot wool rug. Let's just say I had to empty the dust cup 3 times to get rid of all the hair this cleaner pulled out of the rug. Amazing. Yes, this cleaner is a bit on the heavy side, and so powerful I needed to use one hand to push the vacuum across the rug while the other hand steered. But the end product was well worth it. In a nutshell, buy this vacuum if you have pet hair nightmares!
